StarHub TVB Awards

 

The StarHub TVB Awards celebrate the stellar partnership between StarHub and TVB that has spanned over 20 years. Organized by StarHub (VV Drama and E City), and co-organised by TVB, the Awards honour the hard work and effort put in by TVB artistes in the past year and also bring the stars closer to StarHub’s audience. In the fourth year running, StarHub TVB Awards 2013 will be held on 28 September 2013 at the Marina Bay Sands. The night will begin with the stars arriving at the red carpet show in Level 1 Hall C at 5pm, followed by the Awards ceremony in the Grand Theatre at 7.30pm. Information on tickets sales can be found on the StarHub TVB Awards website (www.starhub.com/tvbawards2013) from 19 August. Tickets will be available at $78, $98 and $128.

This year’s event will be graced by more than 20 TVB artistes and local celebrities at the red carpet walk as well as the live awards show. Held at the Marina Bay Sands’ Grand Theatre, this event will be witnessed by a 2,000 strong live audience. Amidst the glitz and glamour of stardom, be prepared to be bedazzled at the StarHub TVB Awards—it will be an evening of stars, glamour and splendour to look forward to.

My Favourite On Screen Couple

It would be a very tough decision to decide my pick for this award. Many are placed in a dilemma between Bosco x Linda and Bosco x Niki (and ofc I was one of them in dilemma) But if I was really asked to pick one, I would pick for Bosco x Linda. I was really attached to the characters (zi ling and hui sir- if  my memory didn't fail me) I've been looking forward to their scenes ever since I started watching for the first few episodes. I just find them really sweet and lovely even though there aren't much imitate scenes between them, you can just feel the love and chemistry between them, the way they look at each other with love in their eyes. It just makes me anticipate for their next scenes and the strong feeling towards the both of them grew as the storyline develops. I would just be glued to my screen during their scenes and I would be hoping that they would just faster get together. Even up till thus, I would replay their scenes if I got the time. I've only watched 3-4 episodes of tits2 so I can't really comment much between Summer x Issac

 

  My Favourite Theme Song

I would say that all of the theme songs are just amazing and it's really very hard for me to choose among my few top picks for this award.

 

 

 My Favourite TVB Actress

This is another challenging award and it's hard to predict who's the winner. Everyone stands equal chance and almost all of them have series that had been aired this year (or are still airing).

This award just entirely depend on who ur bias is/are. (in fact all of the awards are haha)

No doubt Wayne's acting is solid especially "The Confidant" was the third tvb best actor award he clinched where he beat all the strong competitors. Chilam's popularity soared rapidly ever since triumph in the skies II had aired. Now everyone knows who "Captain Cool" is. Not forgetting SAM (Captain Leung- is it? I'm not sure :p), his acting is amazing too and I can just feel his love towards Su Yi. I had been admiring his acting skills since a few years back.  Raymond's popularity had always been strong ever since I know him, and in fact, it grew over the years. Witness Insecurity got the highest rating in the year as well, so there's no doubt towards Bosco's popularity as hui sir in witness insecurity. Moses, Kenneth, Raymond Wong, Wong Cho Lam and Ruco Chan had strong supporters as well and no doubt towards their great acting and effort too. (I can't comment on the character cause I didn't catch those series)

  I only finished 3/10 series above so I can't really choose my pick.
